How can i get an access for CNKI?

Hello, since it is my first time to use crossasia, I would like to know how I can see the documents in the CNKI database?

First steps in CrossAsia:

  1. Log in at crossasia.org (or click on the respective database name in the list:CrossAsia | Databases)

  2. Select „CrossAsia.org (VHO)“ as your „institution“ (only when you have „linked“ your CrossAsia account with that of your university, select your university as „institution“. On „linking your account“ please refer to CrossAsia | Link Account). Enter your credentials.

  3. When you come from the database list, the database is loaded; if you have first logged in at the site, go to the database list (see 1.) and search for the database either by „Category“ and/or „Regional Cluster“ or by searching the database descriptions using the search slot above the database list (not the one in the menu as it will search more materials than just the databases)

  4. If you need a general introduction, please come to one of our open webinars: https://blog.crossasia.org/classroom-2/?lang=en#H01. New webinars will be announced soon. If you have specific problems, contact us at x-asia(at)sbb.spk-berlin.de or post your question here in the CrossAsia Forum.

Note: The link to the CNKI central plattform with CrossAsia authentification is this one: http://erf.sbb.spk-berlin.de/han/cnki-meta-crossasia/
For Login problems please consult this page: CrossAsia | General Information

Best,
CrossAsia Team (Martina Siebert)

Thanks for your information. But i have the other question about log-in.

When I
click to the website https://staatsbibliothek-berlin.de/emedien-meldungen/login/, here needs Ausweis.Nr and password again. Where can I find both of them for myself? And when I try to click on Anmeldung für FID Ressourcen (Shibboleth), this website does not change.
Thanks for your time and help again!

Best regards,
Xun

Please first restart your browser.
When you are on this page:
Do not click „Benutzungsbedingungen“ but follow the link below „Shibboleth“

Next window will be point 2 in the above list.
In the link posted under „note“ on Login problems you find an explanation about how to skip one step of the login procedure.
Best,
Martina

I have exactly the same problem. Even after restarting my browser and clearing my cache, clicking on „Anmeldung für FID Ressourcen“ and entering my institution’s login credentials in Shibboleth only gets me redirected back to https://staatsbibliothek-berlin.de/emedien-meldungen/login-hinweis

Hello,

your access to the licenced databases has expired (shown in yellow in your account … if you had the chance to log in, I know ;-)). As I can see that your account is linked to Trier university I temporarily open the access again. Please send a new form for extending the access. Select your university as „institution“ and enter you university credentials.

Contact us at x-asia if you need more specific help.
Best,
