From July 8 to 12, the Berlin State Library and the Max Planck Institute for the History of Science jointly organized the workshops and conference “Charting the European D-SEA: Digital Scholarship in East Asian Studies.” This event brought together 121 participants from 19 countries and was hosted at the Berlin State Library. The pre-conference workshops, held from July 8 to 10, featured 14 diverse sessions covering various digital humanities topics. These included digital annotation, OCR, N-gram analysis, social network analysis, textual analysis, topic modeling, spatial analysis, and ChatGPT, among others.
